I did post a message but I think it must have got lost as my internet is a bit temperamental!!

Anyway - he's now spaced out  :luv: on two lots of pain killer, one similar to Morphine.

His back was clearly and visibly in spasm and we're just hoping that the pain killers will allow it all to relax and that he will be OK. Otherwise it's xrays and MRIs again with a voew to further surgery. I have more Rimadyl to give him tomorrow but he is not a happy little fella. Even Jasper seems to know something's wrong. Buddy is lying down in the hall as he's just settled there and Jasper is sitting with him seemingly looking out for him. I've never seen Jasper lilke this even when Bud's had all that trouble and surgery last year. They're both crying  :'( :'(

We go back to the vets again in the morning for another check up.

I'll give another update then.

Oh what a bummer  :'(  Lets hope him being spaced out allows his back to relax - this has sometimes worked for me when my neck goes.  Your vet sounds wonderful  ;)
