Hope you get sorted with Rubys eye infection, we ended up going ti Newmarket Vet college with our little Hollie, some yrs back too be told she had PRA and Gluocoma, the vet had never seen both diseases together lucky for us we never breed from her, and we test all our dogs know for these, im pleased too say we have all clear dogs.

While it had looked like it was getting better Ruby's eye got much worse this morning and she was cowering in her bed with pain so I popped her over to the vets and he's given us stronger eye drops and she had a pain killer jab and back on monday. She still not hungry but Wilf the goofy boy is dancing round the food bin in prospect of more food even though he ate Ruby's breakfast!

Ruby's in her bed now and not very happy poor love. Eye drops are 6 times a day so no going out for very long for me then

Painkillers are helping but she wanted to go out for a walk earlier so I took her for an onlead walk but she kept bumping into my leg then yelping, and part way round she stopped and refused to move so I had to carry her. It must hurt so much

Having to give drops 6x a day is hard work but will do it.

we had too give our Hollie drops every day for about 4yrs then the vet deceided to remove the eye, she kept her other eye for another two yrs then we had that removed, we lost Hollie this yr at the grand old age of 14 she managed very well with out either eye, she was our first cocker who was shown only a little, as we didnt know much about showing at that stage, or the health problems cockers have with eyes,  all our stock our eye tested optigen clear, hope you get eye problem sorted soon, it is very upsetting we know from first hand.
