Oh, no Penny - I'm so sorry Big hugs to Ruby, and I hope the sedation wears off soon - Molo says she should milk it for all she can get
It did as soon as I got home and mentioned food. Vet thought she was lovely --- she has got such a sweet nature no matter what they do to her (and the eye people have some really odd implements as well --- like a bulbous lens they put right over the eye that has a tube and a syringe on the end)
Unfortunately, I had to pay the bill and have nothing left now plus I will have to get Wilf tested as well soon so I can avoid the same happening. Vet told me that when I went to the vets last thurs it was too late (not that it was my fault but its one of those things where you don't always know until the 1st symptoms arise --- which is why he also emphasised contacting them urgently if needed even if it means getting someone out of bed).
They also have a lovely garden (full of newly planted 'old' (IYSWIM) English fruit trees) there as I get the impression that many clients end up having to hang around a bit --- I had to take Ruby out when they were trying to get the swelling down it took 30 min to see if the drops would work before they tried relieving it surgically).
