Have you taken him to the vets.

It could be stress related...but as Penny says I would pop him along to the vets for an opinion. If it is stress related you may be able to get something for him from Dorwest Herbs  :)

Or it could possibly be an allergy.

Has his routine changed a lot?  Is he left on his own more?

Thank you for your help.  The only thing that changed is that we moved and he now lives with my brother and not with me.  I am trying to arrange somewhere else for him to stay where he is more comfortable.

Thanks once again for you help :D

Renee - welcome to the group. Did you take your boy to the vet for an opinion?

If your boy has moved this could well be an allergy in something your brother uses that yu didn't. Carpet cleaners are a typical cause, added to the confusion of moving house and chaning owner - the combination could be the cause.

You really should get it checked out by a vet though to rule out any medical problem as hair loss can be a symptom of other things that would need veterinary expertise and care.

I'm no expert, but it sounds like an allergy to me.    :?   The hair loss on his bum and belly, sounds like he is coming into contact with something.
I have had a couple of dogs with allergies, and its usualy the bum belly and legs that go itchy and have the hair loss.

It could also be down to stress, with everything in his life being topsy turvy right now  :?
