Found it on the internet from Zooeasy.  Downloaded the test one and it looked quote good.  Haven't recieved it yet, so will have to wait and see.

The Kennel Club has the potential to do a lot more than they currently do - we will have to wait and see!

How many generations are you basing your COI on Jacqui? Just wondering as a lot of people only use 5 gens but you can get very different results if you apply the calculation to a 10 gen pedigree (10 gens gives a more accurate figure).

Hi Jane

Thank you for that.

Only 5 will now set about working on 10 may take a week or 2!!! :D

May get a little help from my friends now!!! :shades:

Hi Jac

We have just ordered a Breeder Programme in order for the Working Cocker Pro Health Society to set up a database of all the tested dogs we come across.  We are hoping this will help breeders and prospective puppy owners research the pedigree of the puppy they intend to purchase or dogs they intend to breed from.

We will also be able to ascertain the percentage of inbreeding of prospective matings, we may think of offering this as a service to members.

We will attempt to go back as far as we can, not just 5 generations.  Because show lines and working lines are being mixed, it is more important that the testing is carried out.

We will be working in conjunction with The Kennel Club to gain backdated information on pedigrees and testing etc.

It would be interesting to know if anyone would be interested in this?

Thats brill now I can get some help with it!!! :shades:
