Ear Problem
« on: July 01, 2009, 05:56:38 PM »
One of Indy's ears seems to be a bit gunky and mega, mega itchy.

I realised there was something wrong when I caught her rubbing her ear in the gravel, tried to get her to stop and she gave me a mad, upsidedown 'but I'm in heaven' look.

I've cleaned round the inside, it does seem to be more waxy than normal and she's got a couple of smallish matts, when I touched the matts her back leg started bicycilng like crazy!

I'm going to trim the hair from the inside of her ear and remove the matts, it doesn't seem to be smelly and she's not shaking her head, but if you rub her ear she starts bicycling again.

I'm 99.9% certain it's not a grass seed - anybody got any suggestions.
