Misty Moo has gone
« on: December 08, 2010, 04:59:59 PM »

Hi all yesterday was a bad day Misty had been sick during the night and very poorly, phoned the vet in the morning and arranged for some blood test to be taken (thought it was womb infection at first.

She got worse during the day took her in at 12 had operation to remove an enlarged Spleen at 13.00, not cancerous but oversized. Misty Moo is very ill and still with the vets, she came through the operation OK but is so weak and very anaemic. Anyone been hear with their cocker ?

Update 10th Dec - Just an update for those who showed a concern, Looks like we are losing Misty Moo after the operation on Monday she has not eaten and continues to weaken. More blood test at lunch time if her red cell count is still dropping then I think the time has come to make that decision we all dread. I hate this and feel so helpless. :'( :'( :'(

Update 13th Dec - Lost for words really she was my special friend and its choking me typing this, but after a difficult night with her on Friday we concluded that any hope had gone and she would be best to sleep it of forever. Gone but never ever forgotten.
