i know most of you have been through some sort of op with your fur babies, thats why i knew it was the right thing to do to tell you guys about this as i had a feeling i'd get plenty of positive thoughts and prayers....and for this i am eternally grateful, you have all made me feel so much better, even though im now in tears because of everyones kindness......god, im useless tonight (im not usually such a sap)  ;)

Oh poor you they look so vulnerable don,t they so young .

My lottie had a small lump removed under GA at 16 weeks old and she was fine up and about in no time . I was a mess like you really worried but that's my nature . Didn't do lottie much good thou she didn't understand why I was so upset . Try to relax a bit they will look after her . Please let us know how she gets on x  :luv:

Im sure you are worried and upset I would be too...

Stella my boxer didnt have her tail docked properly (when it was legal) and had to have an op at 4 months due to major discomfort and the end kept opening up too. The hardest part was keeping the bandage on when they are feeling better a couple of days later and wagging their tail again  >:( :lol2: Stella rapidly recovered and thrived thereafter...Im sure Gypsy will be the same...

Will be thinking of you both in the days to come....

I don't know if this helps any but we had to have a groin hernia operated on on a 5 week old puppy. It was really a case of risk the operation or the hernia could have strangulated and we could have lost the puppy anyway. It was a very, very hard day the day that the baby went in for the op but the vet was wonderful and really knew his stuff. The baby was fine and full of beans when she came home at the night time. We are thinking about you here  :luv:
