Thanks Poppsie, Phoebe & Mia. I hope he will be ok after rest too but he's only been going on short walks for 20 mins at the most but I think I'll totally test him this week now and with the Metacam and a few crossed fingers hopefully he will be ok.

Awww, of course you hate to see him limping, poor little guy.  I wish they could tell us exactly where it hurts.  We feel so helpless don't we, wishing we could wave a magic wand to make it better for them.  Give him a big  :bigarmhug: from us.

It's horrible to see them like that isn't it  :'(

I know it's different as Harry has hip dysplasia but the physio recommends total rest for 3 days AFTER he's finished limping & then gradually build up the exercise, starting with prob just 2 x 10 mins on lead slow walking.

Hope the little man is OK  :bigarmhug:

Thank you all. Yes I may try that Max x 2. Trouble is Woody doesn't do slow walking even on his harness he just pulls like a nutter and I feel that would make him worse.

Anyway just been down this morning and he's not limping at all now and he's only had 1 Metacam tablet  :-\ Not sure if it works that quick. Maybe he just gets a little stiff and as the day goes on it seems to ease off. Thank you for all your advice though. It's much appreciated

Positive thoughts are winging Woody's way.

It's annoying when you can't pin point exactly what the problem is as we so want to help them.

:bigarmhug:  :bigarmhug: for Woody and you.

He's given us one more dose of Metacam for 10 days and if the problem persists after that then he thinks the best option would be down the x-ray route.

How is he now?

Thank you for your reply.

Touch wood (excuse the pun) :005: he seems to be doing ok now.

He's still going for shorter walks but is going for a good half hour run about which he's fine with so fingers crossed :)
