Distemper, please be aware

Just read on the Gundog training forum that there is an outbreak of distemper covering South Yorks, South Staffs,North Notts, Warwickshire,some parts of southern and eastern england and now Derby.

There is, but the strain seems to be affecting ferrets far more than dogs, so far over 200 ferrets have died  There isn't a licensed vaccine for ferrets, but the majority of these had been vaccinated with the appropriate dose of the dog vaccine. The two large groups of ferrets that have died were in Wolverhampton and Cheshire.
