Hi Everyone

We have collected our new fur baby, Luna. A female blue roan cocker, we r not sure if she is more work or show, rescued her so no papers. We think she is around 10 weeks now. Her & her brother & sisters were left in a box outside a vets.
We have had dogs before but never a cocker, she was very quiet to start with but the kids have nicknamed her loopy Luna.

Hello Roxy and welcome to COL, Luna looks lovely and she may be quiet now but I think once she is settled she will show just how fun cockers can be. It is a sad story of being dumped like that so after a poor start you are giving her a brilliant new life.

Luna it beautiful, going by the domed head she looks like a Show, but ether way she is deffanately a Cocker so get ready for her loopy side, it's coming  :005:

She is gorgeous and so lucky that her owners dumped her outside of somewhere where they would be found and kept safe, rather than put in a bin bag somewhere.

You might find that she is a mixture of both worker and show, if you meet up with her siblings, you might see characteristics of both in them.

Good luck for the zoomies and oh those cockerdile teeth!!  Wellies / UGG boots and lots of wine helps you get through those weeks! :005: :005:

What a beautiful little girl   She is just gorgeous.  Looks like a show cocker to me, with the domed head and the long ears.  How can people dump puppies like that.  At least they were left somewhere the person knew they would be found and cared for.   I am sure by now loopy Luna is living up to her name.  So glad you have found each other.

Thanks everyone!

She certainly is living up to her name, she likes a good run around, she has a 'mad' stint on an evening when she will run round all the sofas and then goes back to looking for something to chew. So far she has eaten a pair of sandals and is quite taken with my sons bottles & dummies  :005:

She is coming along well considering we don't really know her age, she has already learnt to sit, lie down and loves fetch

Life will never be the same again now we have her! x
