Never done this before( posted on here) but was just looking as you do :005: and saw this lovely boy
http://www.manytearsrescue.org/display_mtar_dog.php?id=14454

he looks a darling - he is under one year old and black and tan, says looking for new home due to family commitments etc.

Hope he finds a loving home soon.

He was never going to hang around. What a cracking dog. Someone will be very lucky to get him.

Showing available again. I have spoken to MT as I was seriously tempted by the idea of a playmate for Buster. It appears that the previous placement fell through because the cat test was an "epic fail". Rules him out for me unfortunately but if anyone has a cat free house this looks like a really good dog.

Quote
04-10-15 Harvey is a ten month old very handsome chocolate and tan cocker spaniel.  He has lived with a family with two children of 5 & 9 and has been well socialised and attended puppy classes.  He was very loved but became "too busy" for the household so they took the sad decision to give him up.  He has been with me for a week now and is house trained and eats and sleeps well.  He gets on with other dogs and enjoys playing with a ball or a game of tug-o-war.  He has developed some "naughty" habits like stealing things and running off with them just for fun!  However, this seems to only happen when he isn't gainfully occupied.  He is a bright boy and learns quickly so this shouldn't be an issue in the long term.   Ideally he would be happiest in an active household with another dog purely because he so enjoys their company but he would also be fine as an only dog provided he had an active home where he had plenty of stimulation.  He is a very loving boy and enjoys cuddles and affection and he thoroughly deserves a wonderful new forever home.

He is very handsome  :luv:
