I really do believe in karma. 3 months is a good period but it was obviously not meant to be.

Have you thought about a doggie day creche? Or having a dog walker take him out when you are at work? Just a thought.

Given that this has all happened very quickly, out of the blue, I've had no chance to make any arrangements. In the immediate short term I will get up a little earlier and take him for a walk before I leave for work, a friend is going to take him out in the middle of the day. I will be hoping to arrange for a professional dog walker as soon as I can.

While he's been away he's got bad a coming to call so, for the moment, he will have to be walked on a lead. Already started retraining him!

Oh goodness, I have a lump in my throat.  Bobby looks so content in the photo, as if he has never been away.  Yours was such an emotional story and you are obviously meant to be together.  Everything crossed you can make it work and you and Bobby are destined to remain together for life now.

Neil...I am so very happy for both you and Bobby, as the new week starts, just know that what obstacles there might be will be overcome because Bobby is where he wants to be,  he will become better when he sees there is a pattern to you going out and coming home.  Plus there is one big plus, Bobby is content in his home.
