*sniff*

In a related story, on the news they were showing the rescuers working and rescuing a dog from the rubble. The reporter said they had hoped to find survivors but it was only a dog. Erm, pretty sure that counts as a survivor too.

Unless you have owned a dog people would not understand the love they share. Amazing creatures.

I sometimes thank that we humans could learn a lot from dogs about love, loyalty and friendship. As Mark says, they truly are amazing creatures.

When I read the reports about this poor dog I just had to give my two a huge cuddle. I don't think they understood but they cuddled me right back anyway  :luv:

The whole thing is just terribly, terribly sad.  Firstly, I cannot imagine how one recovers from losing everything, and secondly, the suffering of those who have lost their animals as well as everything else, or animals who have lost their master is really not given much thought. :'(
