Spoke to the vet again, and he said he is ok, down in the dumps, He is going to give him some Tramadol.

Said they tried him with a little food but he didn't want it. ate just a little chicken. Not surprising really.

They have flushed his ear with 12 litres of saline, so hopefully all infection will have been flushed out.

He said his ear canal was very thickened the Bulla was too. I asked if we'd done the right thing having the Op and he said. they probably would never have got rid of all his infections on a permanant basis without it.

So hopefully we will have our boy back tomorrow feeling much better.

He said he put up a fight  ph34r even after giving him morphine they had trouble giving him the anaesthetic.

He wasn't having any of it.

Aaaaw, poor Paisley, he must have been frightened.  :'( :'(  It is a pity that he couldn't understand that everyone is trying to make him better  :-\  It certainly sounds like the op was the only solution - you could have gone on indefinitely with the meds and still got nowhere  >:(

I am sure in a few days he will forget about it and start to feel much better - being home with lots of cuddles will help him recover even quicker  :D

Hope your boy has a good night tonight.  :-* :-*

Hope you do too - what a day  :bigarmhug:

Poor Paisley, hope his recovery is quick and he's soon back to his normal self (minus the ear problems!) :D
