I mentioned taking screenshots on another thread - if you need a screenshot (useful for recipes etc) you simply hold down the top button on right of the iPad , then at the same time press the home button (bottom of screen in the centre) you should hear a loud 'click' noise. Then go into the camera option, click on the photo gallery option and voila you've taken a photo of what was on the screen.


(Hope that was not too 'techy' an explanation - my daughter's explain action had lots of 'big words' )

tho as mine is not an 'ipad' by name, but a touchpad it may not do this.

There is a great little app that I'd recommend, called Tips and Tricks - Ipad Secrets. You have to pay but it's not dear (and there's a sale on) and well worth it:

Found an app for mine on google play called screenshot, but not sure a) if it is any good, or b) if i could use it (says it is compatable so paws X'd  )

You really should not need an app.....if it a tablet on android ie galaxy tab ...for this you press the on/off button at the same time as the volume button.
