I have been trying to migrate to Sky from Pipex for the last few weeks and I have had nothing but trouble from Sky.  Now, two weeks after they offered the service, after setting up the account, taking my payment and being provided with a MAC by me, they are telling me that I can't get broadband at this number, which is very interesting seeing as I have been on it for several years now!
Trying to get someone to explain exactly what is going on is nigh on impossible, so at this present moment in time I would not recommend Sky!!

OH on the job again, oo-er missus!  :005:

If you go to www.skyuser.co.uk, there's a brilliant forum about all things Sky and for Sky broadband in particular, sign up, search for your problem and if you can't find it ask a question. The people on there are very knowledgable and very, very friendly. I can guarantee someone else will have probably experienced this already.
