where can I get an hp 7710

been to pc world and I want a hp 7710.  £519 in pc world and £499 in dixons BUT......I only want the tower unit, not speakers, key board screen etc.  i have tried googling and ebaying and cannot find anything on either.  help appreciated.  thank you

Have you tried Hewlett Packard directly?

bizarrely enough you cannot get it from HP.  In fact I am finding their whole website hopeless!  Thanks though

Sometimes these units are rebranded with a name/model for that particular supplier ie; PC World etc. Try taking a note of the spec and then searching the HP website and you might just find one exactly the same under a different model number.

we bought just the tower unit at currys. it was about three christmases ago but it was a hp

thank you.  I upgraded and bought a 7750 which was just the tower unit - the other one was part of a special deal and couln't be split.

New machine is fab, just reinforces how naff my other one was.  Had a mini celebration with a sledge hammer and my old unit in the garden yesterday.  SO satisfying.  Off to the tip with it in the morning!
