Show opens at 9.00am, judging starts at 10.00am

I was going to come over for this Show but wanted to go and see a sick friend instead and unfortunately he died on the 18 of January so I missed out on seeing him and going to the Show :'( :'( :'( :'(
My friend Helen is coming over and will be there with our friend Sue Rihoy.

Sorry about your friend and sorry you are not coming to the show - I'll miss you. The results that's easy they will be up on the Home Counties website (husbands job), hopefully on the same evening if we get back at a reasonable hour if not the next day.

Wendy, can you clarify a date that was printed in the Cocker Club diary please, it states
11 September (Thursday??) - Home Counties Cocker Spaniel Club open show Judge TBA
Having looked at the forthcoming events page on the website I presume this is an error?

I have got 9 November in my Starprint diary, so wonder if they got the 11 and 9 mixed up in the cocker one. :-\

The dates for the open show are Sunday 6th July and 9th November 2008. The judge for the 9th is still TBA as far as I know.

I was confused about my tickets, I have two dogs booked in both in joint names, I thought I would get a spare helpers pass/ticket but i did not - and I needed one. Can anyone confirm that this is right? I am sure I have had extra passes in previous years!

I think you have to request a Helpers Pass with your entry we did for my dad.
If the dog is in Joint ownership it does admit two people.Me & mom are in joint with Sophie and i didnt have to buy one.

Had a fantastic day! 1st of all Sophie got a 3rd in a hugeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee minor puppy class qulifying her for crufts 09 :luv: Crystal then went in her class won it, and then got the bitch ticket and best in show!!!!!!!!!!!!! :luv: :luv: :luv: :D :D
So now she only answers to "SH CH Molkara Elise JW"
so so so proud of her! and of course little sophie! :luv:

Emily and Tyke got second in Novice and she is over the moon. Many thanks to the people who clapped so much for her, it really made her day that Tyke's breeder and people she had met at other shows were so pleased for her. I think she will want to go in another show now ;)
We also got some news -
Tyke name has been approved he is - Cardamine Rainbow Tyke at Brimbeck.
Dyllan behaved himself so I was pleased and he got a res rosette in Special Beginners. :angel:
I even met the lovely Florence and her equally lovely sister :D

I saw the most beautiful black and white dog in a class at the end of the show either limit or open I think. He was the lovelest looking dog. :luv: :luv: :luv:

The dog in question is "Olibond Ottar at Charmwen" aka Baxter owned by Carol Burnett. He gained his Stud Book No at the Show ;)

Dogs I haven't seen and I was keen to read my right up as I was showing Otis (Tori Ellis) dog and he won hes class :D (it was the handler that did it!!!!!) :005:

Yep found the bitches one in Dog World 7th March (thank you), will keep an eye out for the dogs just in case you miss it. ;)
