Look forward to seeing you there Jeanette, you could always enter Quinn NFC (not for competition) for the sum of £1 :o, a great way to socialise and I'd get to have a cuddle.  :luv: :shades:

I wasn't sure if you could do that if you wasn't showing another dog -  oooh will have to see if I have a spare £1.00  ;)    In that case, it may be me and Quinn - will have to think about that one  :shades:

You must go, you were there when I went a couple of years ago - its good to see a friendly face - I'm not sure if he'll go anyway, its too big a show for us - meaning we're totally clueless

The puppy walk is completely separate from the show itself, very informal and relaxed and if I do it, very cuddly - with the pups that is!  :005:

That's fab.  ;) I take it he can come in and sit in his cage or on someones lap the rest of the time. It's just I wouldn't feel happy leaving him in the car, bless him.

Ooooh I really wanted to go to this one. But there is a gundog show (mid herts or something of the like) about half an hour away from us the next day! Maybe I'll come to your spring one, are non Cockers allowed in the puppy walk??!

Numpty question Michele  :005: Is this literally just for solid colours  Its being held 2 minutes away from my BIL 's house so we thought we could pay a visit to them and have the bonus of a show too, but unsure if particolours are included

Only solids at the Open show Patsy, both at the champ shows....

Doesn't look like we'll be coming as Meg wants to do the YKC training day at Newark  :'(

Michele

Had to come back to this thread for the date as on the solid cockers website it says Sunday, 30th October 2010 so was confused about whether it was the Saturday or Sunday as Sunday is the 31st.

Is it definitely the Saturday and not Sunday  :shades:

Jeanette, you would really have no pressure to do anything you didn't want to. If you just wanted to sit with him on your lap at ringside that would be fine, even if you enter him NFC/Puppy Walk you wouldn't have to take him in if you didn't want to.
I think it would be a great shame not to bring him as it's near for you and wonderful socialisation for him.  :D

Wish I could come as I've missed the last couple of Solid Cockers.  I have Heidi and Charlie but Meg and OH off to a YKC event at Newark with Louie and I haven't got anyone to sit with DS  :'(  I was hoping to get cuddles with Quinn and Dru

No shows booked after this wednesday  :'(

I'm glad he's coming along. As Michele says it's great socialisation for them if nothing else. When you see us in the ring you may even feel like coming in to. It will be there first time at a show. It'll be great fun, especially if Michele's the 'judge'.  :D

I won't be doing the puppy walk this time as I'll be stewarding at this show, and so will go for my lunch at the same time as the judge. I am positive whoever does it though, will be as gentle and appreciative of the babies as I am.  ;) :luv:
