cocker spaniel show July
« on: July 02, 2008, 08:08:49 PM »
Hi all,
I am a first time dog owner and my new pup is now on his way in a few weeks :D  On my quest to find the perfect pup I went to the Blackpool Show and met loads of super breeders and learnt so much from them and also from reading these boards (brill btw for a complete novice like moi).
A few of the breeders mentioned the Cocker Spaniel Show on July 13th? in Worcs? that I would love to go to as a spectator and learn more pre our own pup, but I can't seem to find any info on it so please could someone point me in the right direction  ;)

Where is it?
When is it?
Are people without dogs able to go? (I presume so)

many thanks in advance, if any of you are there I will be the one asking thousands of questions and watching you all groom the doggies ;)

thanks
vicky

We are going to watch (not with our dogs)

Evesham & District Canine show and I think Midland Dashhound, all on at same time on different parts of the showground.  We went last year too but then it is just up the road to me  :D

I have a bit of a favour to ask at the show, if anyone has a few minutes could you give my daughter a little help in how to stand the dog correctly on the table.  She really didn't like the ringcraft class we went too and whilst we're never likely to do any serious show stuff, it would be nice to be on the right lines and now putting Heidi-bounce at a further disadvantage  ph34r

(Heidi-bounce is renamed due to her performance in the minor puppy class at the weekend where it was largely acknowledged she had turned into a springer since she bounced on two legs for most of the run out and back  ::))  :005:
