touching lots of wood here

HGE around 1 year old - £360.00
suspected stick injury (was not, he'd bitten through his own tongue and caused a haematoma the size of a sausage under his tongue) £250
suspected pancreatitis (thankfully wasn't) c£150
eye specialist - iris muscles are not contracting properly  £280.00
Grass seed in ear hole out of hours £320.00

I don't think that's bad for 8 years :luv: :luv:  - averaging out at £170.00 per year.

Honey snapped one of her baby canine teeth when she was going through her cockerdile stage! I had only just taken out the insurance and was still in the first two week stage when illnesses aren't covered, but luckily as this was an accident she was covered to have the rest of the tooth removed at £450!!
Rosie, rest in peace my beautiful little girl, you will be in my heart forever. 2/2/12-24/10/12

About £550 for complications following Archie's castration (he had a reaction to the internal stitches). I didn't think insurance would cover it but they did. Phew! I regularly save into Archie's own bank account to cover any costs that are under or only just a little over the excess on his insurance.

Claimed (or rather got paid out, after £75 excesses) £855 in Henry's first year of insurance for:
1) Poo tests (about £190)
2) Corneal ulcer (about £285)
3) Congenital cataract (about £365)
4) Paw injury (£15) - only claimed after I'd got massive premium increase and wanted to get every penny I could from them (can't find the cheque to cash now!!).
So with all the excesses that would amount to £1,150 in treatment (plus a few trips to the vet which didn't reach the excess level and therefore weren't claimed for).

Am just about to have eye specialist check-up for £200 which I won't currently be able to claim anything for.

All this and the premium goes up 610%
Did I mention that no-one on here must EVER use Axa again?!!!
