Hi all,
Bentley is 6 months now and his coat is very fluffy and soon to be stripped and tbh is looking a bit dull....and i'm asking for advice on how much cod liver oil to give and do i give it daily?
I read a past thread on fish oil and it suggests primrose oil, salmon oil, olive oil, raw egg? all for help with maintaining a shiny glossy coat.
I realise Bentley may stay 'dull' looking until his puppy coat is stripped away but i haven't a clue what oils to use and how much........ :-\
Any advice appreciated xx :luv:
P.S. do you just pop it in his food??

i use Yumega oil in Patrick and Freddy's food, both have lovely glossy coats, you can see how shiny Patrick is (just) in my tiddly pic :005:

I bought some Yumega at a show yesterday as it was on offer £2 off. I believe you start with 2.5ml a day and go to 5ml after a week. http://www.lintbells.com/yumega/
Also tried the Doreen Paige Vita-oil, again only 1/2 teaspoon a day and Heidi has a very shiny coat but it's not encouraged the coat growth we needed. http://www.doreenpaige.com/products/1.5.158.Vita%20Oil%20Supplement.html
