Sable/Sable Roan - can these be KC Registered

Just out of interest, if the Kennel Club doesn't recognise this colour, can pups still be KC Registered?

Also, I'm seeing "sable roan", is this because of partis and solids being mixed?  Thanks, Lesley   :D

Yes. I've got a sable boy. He is KC registered, but on his certificate it says "colour - sable - not KC recognised

Not sure about the sable roan side of things! X

Most were sable but there were 2 golden I think

Thank you.  Forgot to ask, what were the colours of mum and dad?  I'm presuming one of them must have been a golden?

Of course, when I was looking last time for a golden, none could be had.  Now I'm searching for partis, all I can find are solids  :doh:
