Another colours/parents question!

Hypothetically 

If mum was a solid chocolate (her parents being Choc and white x choc and tan) so carrying the and tan gene and dad was a choc and tan.  I presume there's a high probabaility of there being choc and tan pups but would any other solid colours come out?  Solid black or even black and tan?  Or since there is so much of the choc colouring in the lines would all the pups be chocolate or choc and tan?!

From my understanding Chocolate is a recessive gene so a chocolate dog only carries 2 chocolate genes. This would mean that if two chocolate dogs are mated they would only produce chocolate pups or possibly orange but never black. You could get solids, and whites, and tans or maybe even roans depending on the genes that the parents were carrying.

Don't know if this helps, but Roly who is Tri col (choc/white/tan) - his mother was solid chocolate and his dad was Choc roan and tan.  Roly's siblings were Choc roan & tan, 2 tri cols and one choc & tan.
