Im thinking of swapping the dogs over to arden grange.
Brie has never held her weight well and is a little loony so i thought i would try a change of food and see if it made any difference (prob just me wishfull thinking :005:).
Had a quick look on line and prices range from £25-£40 for a 15kg sack.
Just wondering what you payed for yours, where from and which flavour you fed?
thanks

Hi
we have the lamb and rice as its cheaper than the chicken, for a 15kg sack we pay £28 ish, our vet orders it in for us, and its cheaper than most places as they dont make a huge profit on it
Mabel does realy well on it and her coat improved gloss wise within a week

I moved Dennis onto Arden Grange Light two weeks ago and it seems to be helping to bring his weigh down (he needs to loose one more KG) The flavour is chicken and rice. Unfortunately, I don't have space for huge bags of dog food so I bought the 2.5kg bag in our local pet shop which cost me £8.95 (which would be equivalent to £53 for 15kg of food). This is still cheaper than what I had him on previously Eubekanuba Light which cost me £13 per 2.5kg bag.

I order it from Berriewood Wholesale, it's the same price there as from the breeder's club and it's handier as I can also order their Naturediet etc. at the same time. Rodaidh was on Nutro for a while and it was also great but I found it hard to get a consistent supply of it so AG is by far the best food I've found in terms of quality, suiting all of them, all of them liking it and for a fairly reasonable price. They're on the lamb and rice just now but I give Rodaidh and used to give Alfie the Performance variety when they're working in the winter as they're both naturally skinny and it kept them bulked up a bit more. I've also used the Premium variety but Rodaidh can be a picky eater and seems to prefer the lamb.

We user Arden Grange lamb and rice too. I used berriwood until the kennel they go to now and again let me have it for £22.50.
Our are fine on it, they sometimes get extras in it but I then cut down a little on the complete

we use Berriewood and Jarv is on premium as they were out of the performance one we usually get ;)
I would also try her on raw green tripe for one of her meals a few times a week - really helps with lean dogs ;)

Thanks, She gets tripe, natures diet or raw food about 5 meals a week and burns it all off.
She just determined to keep her supermodel figure i think :005:
Doesnt matter how much she eats shes still size 0.
Im not jelaous at all >:(

Because im unsure about the right amounts of raw to feed i actually give her the raw as well as her normal daily food, so its an extra meal ph34r ph34r
I just make sure there is a good gap between the raw and her kibble ph34r ph34r
She eats the same amount as Jack and hes 4kg heavier than her!

Rodaidh eats a fair bit more than Tilly and she's about 4kg heavier than him, life can be very unfair :lol2:

Ours are on AG Lamb & Rice but unfortunately is doesn't stop them being loony! :005: :005: :005: ;)
I order from feedem.co.uk at £25.25 with free delivery. ;)

Have ordered some from berriewood :D

I have the light version for my two from Berriewood...their coats seem better and Daisy certainly has'nt had any funny tums that she had on occasion with Burns ;) ...I think they are slightly less weighty too.

I wouldn't pay £35 for it especially to line the vets pocket :005:

I have used http://www.bowmeows.co.uk/index.asp?category=Arden_Dog (http://www.bowmeows.co.uk/index.asp?category=Arden_Dog) before as they did free next day delivery over £30 and I had run out ::) If you were ordering two bags of the lamb flavour would be £54.98 inc delivery, not as cheap as some but the next day delivery is useful if you are as disorganised as I seem to be... ;)

I buy direct from the AG site because I can buy a variety of sizes. I like to get Mali a selection - though only have one bag open at a time - as she likes the salmon, the lamb and the chicken. I think the price compares well with other sites and the delivery is reliable.
-
I don't mind paying 35 pounds a month for my dog food as they are worth it and my vets are very good with the price . As I've looked around everywhere to compare prices and the light seems to always cost around 35 pounds .

Well we have had amazing results with this.
Within a week Brie had put on weight and both dogs are looking really good.
Bries still nuts but definetly finds it easier to concentrate and has started to sleep more during the day.
big thumbs up from me :D
