Raw and wet food
« on: January 24, 2019, 08:29:57 AM »
A bit of a silly question really for those of you who feed your dogs raw or wet food. Do you do anything with their ears to keep them out of their food? I have always put a snood on my dog which he is ok about but he can be less keen when I go to take it off. I am now thinking does he really need it on?

Coco has a spaniel bowl from Chow Bella and it does a great job of keeping the tripe off her ears.

They are all hand made by Claire (who is a member on here) and we have one that is about 12 years old now!

Branston who has wet food has a small stainless steel bowl clipped onto his crate. For water I use the deep Mason Cash ceramic bowl.

Humphrey also has a deep sided „cocker“ bowl which I had made here and it does the job of keeping his ears clean - he has a matching water bowl aswell. My niece uses an elasticated hair band and binds her springer‘s ears together on top of his head
