Just saw this on facebook from a friend, not sure if it's relevant here or if it would be of any help to anyone, but thought I'd share it anyway as you never know and it all helps if you've lost your dog or know someone else who has.....

If it's in the wrong place, feel free to move as not sure where to put it :)

"PLEASE READ AND PASS ON!!! Telford police and the RSPCA Have done a joint raid on a traveller site in Telford Shropshire, they have seized loads of dogs, some have micro chips, some not! There is 6 huskys, some springers, cockers, staffys, sprockers, and more breeds, believed to have stolen them from derbyshire, Staffordshire, all areas, please ring Telford police or the RSPCA! And give them your micro chip number, they have dogs there with chips but no owners have come forward, Telford Shropshire please share."

This isn't true

The police have confirmed on their twitter page that no such raid has taken place, seems to be an internet rumour

I know, i don't know why people make these things up.
Awful to provide false hope to people

I'm not aware of any traveller sites in Telford at the moment - the nearest is in Cressage [long term site] and I'm told that most have moved off.

Saddens me that someone posted a hoax that builds false hope  >:D

I read the same hoax about a month ago  on FB  & that it was in Southend. Then on Essex police and Rspca  Twitter pages said no such thing happened.  I just think people are so sad to get peoples hopes up.  One things for sure those Poor dogs are still missing.
