Cracked pads

After a bit of advice really...my Harry (Orange Roan) has quite badly cracked pads. Can anyone recommend a treatment or should they just be left. He is 6 years young.

at the moment with the cold weather I'm using paw wax on Jarv - you could get some of that which I do think helps stop then getting worse or good old vaseline helps too  ;)
