I can't get the picture of him extracted but he looks very sweet.

Bracken is a 7 year old , male Cocker Spaniel. He is house-trained and neutered.

Bracken is a friendly , affectionate dog but he's very wary of youngsters , so he will need an adult only home - or one with older children. Having lived until recently with an elderly owner , he's become rather lazy and overweight. Trimming him down will give him a new lease of life. He currently begs for and steals food ; limiting his intake will be a case of being vigilant and cruel to be kind !

Generally obedient and placid in the house , Bracken settles quietly when left alone for a while. He does like to play with a ball , though , and gets excited at the prospect of a walk , but he soon gets tired.  He travels well in a car.

Bracken is  fine with other dogs both in the house and meeting new ones outside , although he isn't particularly interested in them after a polite greeting. He does pull on the lead but this is usually just to follow an interesting scent. We don't know what his recall is like but he is generally very responsive to his name.

Bracken is an easy , uncomplicated dog who needs the close human companionship which he has always been used to but has suddenly lost.
