Whisky is a 5 year cocker spaniel. She is an ex breeding dog who was adopted but has been returned as she found it difficult live with a young baby. She has met older children and is fine and is currently being fostered in a home where the youngest child is 10 years old. Whisky loves being cuddled and is very sweet but still quite nervous of things in the outside world so will need a kind and patient home with another dog to help her.

PLEASE NOTE: Ex-breeding dogs are normally best homed with another dog as they have usually never lived in a house before. They are used to living with other dogs and learn faster with another to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience.

Being fostered in Hornchurch, Essex. If you are interested in adopting this dog please complete the Foster Dog Adoption Form or contact Kevin on 01249 655323. To adopt a dog from Many Tears Animal Rescue you will be home checked, you and all members of your family and any dogs who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the new dog.

She looks lovely.  It seems unusual for an exbreeding rescue to be rehomed to a family with a small baby.  Hope she finds a more suitable home soon.

not for MT it isn't !

and the reason why most won't re-home to families with children under 5yrs of age ( though there are exceptions depending on the family and the dog in question )
