Fingers crossed for the handsome lad.  Maybe it's pushing it a bit for him to be with a new family by Christmas, but hopefully in the new year he can have a new start.

I have been following Oscar's posts with interest, as he was the original dog we enquired about that led to us finding our two bootiful woofers!  I hope Oscar finds his new home soon - he is much too gorgeous to be waiting any longer!   :luv:

I will admit I had originally enquired about him for myself but OH wasn't sure of the timing  :'( I would love a rescue but both of us had to be 100% about it. My brother has been looking at rescues for a while and although i am biased Oscar will have a great home with him and Carole. They are driving down on Wednesday and bringing him home on Thursday (its a 7 and a half hour drive). They wanted to wait for the Christmas madness to be over before collecting him!

Will post pics next week and no doubt he'll be at the next Scotish meet!

Congratulations to your brother for saving an absolutely gorgeous boy  :D

My mum got both her dogs (border collies) from lizzies barn and told me the other day that she had enquired about Oscar as he had been there for ages, she will be pleased he has a good home to go to.

One of her dogs Moses had been at lizzies barn for 2 years I think before my mum rehomed him. Sam and Benji will be meeting my mums dogs this christmas as we are going down to visit her.

I remember Moses. Good thing about lizzies barn is that they don't use kennels so even if it takes time to rehome its not too bad for them (and I know Fi would rather wait for a good home to come along rather than any home that asks).
