Reason for rehoming: Tom has come in to NESSR through no fault of his own and would really like a nice quiet home with cocker savvy owners. He has found living with 5 other dogs a little stressful and hasn't known what to make of the others at all and we feel it would be in his best interests for him to be the only dog of the household.
Temperament: Tom does guard his crate at times and is not afraid to tell you when he wants a little extra space...but when managed correctly he soon snaps out of it and realises there is no need to guard. When away from the other dogs Tom changes to a very affectionate , loving lad, who just wants to please. He has been very well trained by his last owners.
Medical problems: He is a big lad and could do with shedding a few pounds but its nothing a bit of extra exercise wont fix!
Neutering: Animal will be neutered unless for medical reasons. Can this be guaranteed? Yes
Will the group be split:
Transport available: You will need to travel to meet Tom
Other: Please see the website for further details, adoption application form and donation
All NESSR dogs require new families to be homechecked, a vet reference and/or personal reference. In addition you will be required to sign an adoption form and give a donation so that we can continue our work.
