There seems to be a lot of it about at the moment, there are loads of cockers who have been poorly and gone off their food - Ozzy being one of them, last week.  However he perked up when he smelt the chicken and rice cooking, and has now made a full recovery.  I hope that by now, Buster is back with you and on the mend.  Sending  :bigarmhug: from Ozzy and me

Spoke to the vet twice today, they think Buster has got Immune Mediated Hemlytic Anemia but it wont be confirmed until tomorrow. They have sent his blood off to a specialist lab so will get the results back tomorrow. They said last night that his red blood cell were low & when they did a blood test again this morning it was even lower so they wanted to do a blood transfusion which he was having today. Reading on the internet it is life threatening but if he gets through this it is controlled by steriods. Thank you for all your positive thoughts & hopefully I will have good news tomorrow.

 :bigarmhug:  I'm so sorry to read the update.  My Jarvis had that.  It was too late for him as the vet diagnosed everything else other than AIHA, but it can be controlled with steroids, as you say, with the dog going into remission.  I pray the vet can control this and bring Buster back to better health.  Keep strong and keep us posted.  Praying for you and Buster.  :luv: :luv:
