Oh, Mark, have only just logged on and saw this. I am so very sorry to read of your sad loss. Oliver was a very special boy, and I am sure you will miss him like hell. You were both very lucky to have each other.

It's a really odd thing to be crying for the loss of a dog you've never met, and to be feeling so sad for an owner you've never met, but COL really is a wee community, and the loss of one of our own really does impact on us all.

I am so sorry that you have lost your soul mate Oliver  He was such a lovely chap and you were both very lucky that you found each other. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time

So sorry to read this Mark....mine and Alan's thoughts are with you, we haven't been on line much the last few days. We lost two oldies in the space of quite a short time at the ages of 16 and 14 and it breaks your heart.  Comfort is found in memories of what brilliant lives they had, our two are buried under the apple tree in the garden and when I watch our two boys and the new pup running around the tree I still get a tear in my eye
