Great when they find ways to entertain themselves like that!
Laurië has this thing she does when we are on boat trips. We usually find a small island where she can run free because we can see or hear if other boats arrive. Anyway, she will run off with her ball and hide it somewhere on the island. Then she comes back and runs in circles in front of you until you go and search for it. It's adorable, she get's super excited when you find it too, I wonder if she's proud of us for finding her amazing hiding spots
