Dangers of Zoomies on wet grass
« on: December 09, 2015, 06:07:35 PM »
Poor Gemma is nursing a grazed chin.
She was zooming on the grass when she lost her footing and slid along a path on her chin  :fear2: for about 5 foot before getting herself back on her feet and continuing with out batting an eyelid or losing speed . Little speedster  :luv:

I hope Gemma is okay.

I'm not surprised they get bumps and scrapes the speed that they go and how fast they can change directions. Cockers seem to have no sense of fear at all.

Always amazes me that they don't do more damage, - I always hold my breath til the zoomies pass and Humphrey sinks with  "phew, that was good", on the floor! Glad she's ok  ;)

Mollie did this 2 days ago, come into the house doing zoomies from the garden (she always does this after a poo!  :005:) and crashed into one of the door steps onto the side of her face - I was expecting a sore eye/broken teeth but she was fine and continued the zoomies in the house!!

Hope Gemma feels better soon.

If there is a cat in the garden or next doors dogs are out and yapping, Jinley exits the door and jumps a 2 foot wall up to the garden rather than going via steps.  I hold my breath every time >:D ph34r

Bonnie had Crash of Formula One proportions a while ago,She was chasing Her best friend Pi...[yes I know!] a Lurcher /Greyhound cross, and keeping  up with Him,when She ran into a dip and stumbled, and did a high speed somersault about two feet in the air, landed flat on Her back and then carried on the Chase.  :fear2:

Bless little Genma , glad it's only a little scrape . sometimes I try not to look when Ernie goes into crazy zoomie mode , last week we were walking along footpath where there are old straw bales along edge of field . He had a crazy moment jumped onto the top of the huge round bale , ran at full speed along the line off them ( there were about 5/6 ) , jumped off the end & then did another lap ... Funny and  terrifying to watch all at the same time !!

Ouch poor thing

Funniest I ever saw that was similar was when Bosley went to jump in his favourite large puddle on the park (one that's there all year round) but it had iced over, so I saw him go skidding on his backside across it - he was more confused than anything bless him (was his 1st ice) LOL
