Hi everybody and thank you for your kind thoughts on Blue well after a sleepless night last night Op day came with early start for us we got to the vets at 8 this morning Stella our vet came to give Blue a cuddle and once over to see if fit i told her we had a problem since last Thursday with his ears after hydrotherapy being really smelly  so we had been cleaning them  well it turns out Blue has got a really bad infection  and she refused  to operate leaving him with an open wound and this infection  raging so left with courses of really strong antibiotics and eardrops and ear flushes  seeing vet again on Friday to see if winning battle  and hope  to go forward with op next week  only hope my fingernails will last and will have to go through with this all again next week but thankfully i have got a really good vet

Poor Blue and poor you    I hope the infection responds to the anti-b's and that the surgery can go ahead.  Your vet does sound lovely, it makes a huge difference.

Oh poor Blue, I hope the infection will clear up quickly and the op can be rescheduled.

Oh dear, this is why Brodie isn't allowed to go swimming. I agree, it sounds like you have a great vet. Everything crossed the infection clears without too much problems and he is able to get his op, sounds like you are both going through a lot so big hugs

Wishing Blue a speedy recovery

well since aggressive medication according to Stella my Vet have a really happy boy  been rolling in the grass and just will not stop walking today  carried him up to our bed this morning while we had our cuppa and felt like we had our old Blue back  just hope it was the ear infection that was making him depressed  but one very happy mummy  tonight with how he is responding

well last two days have got my old blue back rolling in fox poo ................. and doing two or three walks  not very far but we drive him to his favourite places but he is going further than we ever expected
