I picked up "Ben" today (we are going to change his name as he doesn't know it, but not sure what to).
Poor thing has been travelling since 8pm last night and we got to him at 11am today.
He's lovely :) He has been very cuddly and wants to kiss everyone.
He isn't impressed with Millie at the moment and has been possessive over the food and water and has attacked her a few times. I suspect this is because he was bullied by a German Shepherd in his previous home and he now feels threatened by Millie.
He has not been possessive over things with the children and doesn't mind them stealing the bones (as long as they don't give them to Millie...)
He's settling so well considering what an ordeal he has gone through :)

Glad his journey is over and that he's settling in now. :D
Fingers crossed that him and Millie become friends :?

Glad that he's arrived safely :D I'm sure once he learns that Millie isn't going to hurt him, they will be the best of friends. Have fun with him :D

Glad he's settling in :) Any pictures??? :D

Ohh how lovely! ... just glanced at your earlier threads to get the story! :)
I bet you're all so excited yourselves & the children now! And "Ben" will still be all excited at the new things to sniff & investigate!!
Our pup (11 mths) gets on much better with my Dad's dog now after a few visits but he will still get 'nasty' over food! Still I'm sure visiting is a lot different to actually living together with more quality time to get use to each other.
Ohh but sure sounds like a fun day ... enjoy!!

Hi,
Yes, he was gold in the end :)
We've called him Toby. I say "we"...my five year old daughter just started calling him that anyway without asking :D . So I think we're stuck with it???

:) Nice to hear that "Toby" :D is safe and sound and with a little time I am sure him and Millie will bond and become best pals 8)
