How about folk who take their dogs to the vet to be 'spade'  ph34r :005:  or own German Sheppards - as a previous GSD owner that one drives me mad!  >:(

i too find the spelling awful, however when writing on this forum i never use capital letters ph34r after full stops or check my spelling ph34r. as a teacher i should be ashamed!! :005: i can assure you that i can spell really!

I'm afraid I am always turned off by awful spelling and grammar. I don't expect perfection, but frankly if people have taken the time to write out an advert then you'd think they'd want to check it wouldn't you?

Recently I've looked at loads of websites, searching for a breeder I felt in tune with. One was so horrendous that I counted 12 spelling or grammar errors on the Home page. These errors were also very inconsistent when words were repeated eg. puppys, puppie's. So sorry, they came straight off my list!

 Perhaps I'm particulary intolerant or a snob or just a grumpy old woman!

just having a look at the free ads, (looking for spelling mistakes- i'm soooo bored!!!!!) found loads and loads. however i did find one advert that particulary caught my eye:

Puppies, Shih Tzus£370, Westies£320, Cocker Spaniels£290, Labradors£250, Chihuahua Crosses£225, Shih Tzu Cross Yorkie£225, Border Collies£100, delivery possible, card payment accepted, also Labrador Crosses for£80.

I was thinking their was a strange collection of colours in the litter too. My spelling isn't perfect, but if it was going to be on public display I would try and at least use a spell check  :005:

Exactly!!!  I have also come across an Alsation x German Shepherd  :huh:  Now can someone please explain that one to me  :lol:

Bad spelling and grammar really annoys me too.  I think it is my age  ::)  It horrifies me the number of incorrect spelling and grammar on signs and labels in shops and markets.  One that really annoys me is Banana's - 70p/lb  >:(
