Its so refreshing to know i'm not the only insane one. :P
My friend who has two off mine has started to call them the following:

Mickey - Norman :? ( when i had him it was - Picky Poo)
Owen - Nigel   ( he used to come to 'i'm ashowin' Owen' when i had him)

Her excuse is that her hubby is a strict Newcastle fan, and is to    to shout their names out together as people keep asking if they were named that on purpose (certain young FIT footballer springs to mind)

I call Jimmy by the name of "Jimmy" and Misty gets called "Misty" !

As a territorial marker supreme, no tree or lampost escapes his attention, Jimmy could quite accurately be called Jimmy Riddle.

Dicksy is called Dicksy as my hubby is a West Ham Fan and believes Julian Dicks is 'God' so the puppy could have no other name.  he's often called Dicksy dewdrop cos he's forever outside in the morning running through the grass and coming in covered in dew!  I now call him Dick which my husband hates, this came from a woman at Ringcraft who always calls him Dicky dog!   Better than the bloke at obedience the first night I went he called him Tricksy instead of Dicksy when demonstrating something and me being me let him carry on!  Our other dog was already named as we got her when she was 4 a rescue Lhasa she is called Nell the smell and yes she does most of the time bless her!
