A some of you may know, I have been on the hunt for a second Cocker fo a little while. We had decided against a puppy purely because while im at work which is 3 days a week for 6 hours then grandma has Maudie and will have the new dog too. I didnt feel it fair to ask my mum to cope with having a puppy in her house. Anyhow, I have been hunting rescues, on the list for cocker spaniel rescue SW etc for months but have had no luck. Anyway the day before yesterday I decided to e mail some breeders as sometimes they keep two pups and later on choose one of the two to show and let the other one go. Well I had a lovely e mail back from a reputable breeder about 1. 30 hours away from me. She had a 15 month bitch she was looking to rehome. I met her yesteday with my children and Maudie and am going to meet her again on Monday and providing Maudie is ok with her again I will bring her home on Monday. Maudie is such a hard act to follow but I have to say I am very impressed with this little cocker so far. She is such a gentle little thing, so sweet. I have a picture of her, this is before her haircut. She doesnt like the show ring so has been clipped so her coat is easy to keep. I will of course let it grow out again when she is here as with only two I hope to beable to keep it under control, we shall see.
Ok here goes! Her name is Alice, I will post up her pedigree once she is here for sure. She is 15 months old and she is a liver/tan. I think she is stunning I hope you do to. I hope to introduce her to agility, with a view to running her myself if she enjoys it. I also hope Maudie doesnt hate me for giving her a little sister!
