I got my rspca magasine yesterday, there is an article ( haven't read it yet) about puppy farms and how to buy a puppy from reputable sources 

I had the radio on in the car today and they were advertising that horrid place in Manchester  Can you believe part of the 'sales pitch' was to say going there promotes responsible dog ownership    Have people already tried contacting these radio stations informing them of the sheer nonsense they are promoting?

   I have contacted radio stations by e mail several times but never get a response 

Thank goodness these little ones are now safe

 You have my support. I'm with your plight.The puppy farms must stop.
Oh I hope the two little ones come threw.

 People are not sure What is the best way too buy there first pup is.
I think we all on C.O.L put our heads together and think of a way of education people whats out there. A dog should  be planed and thought about . Not just this lovely looking thing which the are. nobody can realize how cruel people can get just to get the few pounds. easy..

OMG how terrible is that?
I wish there was some way the puppy farmers could have a taste of their own medicine and be locked in filthy dirty cages and not fed properly. 

Thank God for small mercies though, at least the girls are safe now

I wish I could say this was the only example I had seen, poor thing good news its not a tumor though.  We've had a weim bitch in recently similar state thankfully once she had the litter she was carrying shes been kept by our behaviourist, could never have been rehomed elsewhere.

Sadly with these sort of people you can only hit them in one place the pocket, loets hope the recession we are in at least does some good.

Fingers crossed these 2 are ok. All the ex-puppy farming dogs i've seen first hand have amazed me at the poor condition they have been in and the conditions they must endure at the hands of these horrid people        The total lack of care is beyond me.

Currently trying to sort out long term fosterers as the vet has said they can not be spayed for at least 6 weeks. As NESSR policy, all dogs have to be spey'd/neutered if old enough before rehoming

I always try to find the positive out of even the wors case negative situation. :

In this case the georgous girls have been saved and will be in a happy, caring and
wonderful home soon.

Following on from some of the posts regards puppy farms.

People wander into these places and are smitten. Especially if they are acquiring a new pet for the first time, and probably make an impulse buy.

 It would be great if they had access to the information on our site beforehand, or even a help pack detailing specific points pertinent to the breed they require and other information/advice about dogs in general. Perhaps well known institutions should take the lead and drive forward guide-lines that would make people wary and hopefully drive these dispicable away from mans best friend.
