I lost my baby :(

Good Afternoon Everyone,

I lost my beautiful Lola last week. I haven't been online for some time. But I know that those of you that met her, would know that she was a happy little dog. She was only 7, and died of kidney damage after contracting Peritonitis from an operation 2 weeks ago.
My family and friends have been great, But I feel empty and alone. You all must know how I feel as you are all Cocker lovers, and you know how they enrich your lives.

Is there any advice that you can give that will help me. I am truly devastated.

Oh Leah, if only I had a magic wand to take away your pain I would wave it in an instant. I truly know how you feel Hun as I only lost my dear Pebbles 7 months ago  . You need time to grieve    everything is still very raw for you right now and there are lots of every day things that will remind you of her. Even now I still cry for my girls   and I lost my Poppy over 2 years ago. I don't think you ever get over losing them you just adjust to life with out them . We are all here for you on COL we will help you all we can you are NOT alone Hun.

I am so very sorry, no words can really help - I am sure in time you will start to remember all the lovely things you did together, and will be able to enjoy your memories and know she had a very happy life with you.

That's such sad news. I'm so sorry Leah  .  I wish there was something I could say to take the pain away . Just try to take one day at a time.

I,m so sorry for your sad loss, it's such an "empty" feeling  they leave such a void in our hearts and lives when they go.
I made a photo collage when I lost my boy seeing him in various pictures although was sad made me remember the fun and love he gave me. I also have a little area in my garden which I have planted a dog wood bush where his ashes are buried. R.I.P Lola fun free at the bridge.
