Hello everyone, I'm not a new member, but I've not been on CoL for a long time. Just wondering if there's anyone still here who remembers me  ;)

I'm glad I've not been completely forgotten  :D

I can't remember which dogs I had when I was last on here, but I had rescue Cockers for a long time. The last of these was Pansy, who I lost last August  :'(

I decided to have a break from rescuing as it was so heartbreaking very frequently. I now have an ex-breeding/ex-show Cocker from the Claramand Kennel. Her name is Vera & she's been here since December 2014. She's black & tan and has an amazing temperament & is very beautiful.

When we lost Pansy, I wasn't sure whether to get another companion for Vera, but decided not to as she settled beautifully as an only dog. Good job too, as I'm currently recovering from my second knee replacement operation, the first one was only 6 months ago. One dog has definitely been easier than 2 for the last few months  ;)

Sorry to hear you have lost Pansy  :'( I am glad Vera is happy as an only girl.
