Georgie and Daisy occasionally have one of those synthetic bones filled with a chicken sort of paste from the pet shop. Daisy loves hers and still licks it and tries to chew it :005: long after the filling has gone ...wondered if I could re-fill it with anything.
Anyone got any idea's for a 'low fat' ;) filling ?

ooops ..sorry for posting in wrong place Jane :embarassed: ..thanks for moving ;)

I refill bleached, hollow bones for Molo instead of kongs (cos he really can't be bothered with those ::))
I use either a tuna/kibble mix, or because he is raw fed; raw mince :D I freeze them so they last longer ;)

small bits of ham/tuna mixed with yoghurt goes down well

..thanks Rachel and Emily ;)

Tuna Bread?

I have several of the hollow calcium bones for Ben. I don't fill them as such but just smear the insides with cheese - tiny amounts too!
I try and get the cheese so that it's almost out of reach and well rubbed in - he will then chew for ages ;)

Low fat cream cheese goes down well in kongs or bones here with tuna, chicken or gravy bones mixed in. Frozen bio yoghurt is also a good one, especially on warm days, they slurp those for ages :005:
