I have been doing some reading about the benefits of seaweed/kelp supplements. Does anyone on here use it and if so does it have any noticeable effect on their coat? I am thinking more of the girls as after their season they are almost bald. :-\ Is it any good for male dogs too?

I've used it on my male dogs with regard to their pigmentation but I can't say I noticed any effect on their coats

I've tried it to grow coat and it had absolutely no affect whatsoever ;)

I use it daily on my boy and girls. I use kelp tablets as a rule but have bought dried seaweed from the health shop too.

Thanks, I may give it a go, I use EPO and I have really noticed a difference with the shine on their coats, unfortunately the girls dropped it all after their season, so I was looking for a supplement that may help. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to try it. ;)

Annie you could try the missing link. It is a brilliant supplement that I feed all year around. I discovered it when one of my girls really started shedding badly while she had a litter of puppies and have never looked back since. Obviously Dalmatian coat grows back much faster.
