Have been lurking about on this site for a while now and thought it was about time i introduced myself and my 9 week old blue roan Jarvis. The sites been great and spent lots of timme on it before deciding that a cocker was the dog for me. The information has been a great help before and after Jarivs's arrival. He was so qiet on his first week and now an absolute rascal but wouldn't have it any other way.

This is definitely the right place to hang out if you are a new Cocker owner - you'll get loads of sympathy and advice here!

Welcome to COL Lorri & Jarvis (love the name)

As the others have said you will find all the information/advice that you need with regards to owning a Cocker, just ask away.

It's nice to see that you did your homework before you got Jarvis, alot of people see a picture of this ever so cute cocker, that looks like butter wouldn't melt - but we know better!!!!!! :wink:  :lol:  :lol:

Hi Lorrie and Jarvis

I'am also a new member to COL.  I have a blue roan dog called Louis who is 7 months.  When we first got him he was very quiet, and I thought "Ahh he's so placid and timid"  then the real Louis arrived!  Sock pincher, wooly hat pincher, tissue shredder and another hobby of his is gardening, as in pulling up the grass and shredding the lovely shrubs!  Wouldn't change him for the world.  He makes me laugh and he has a great character!  You have it all to come so enjoy it!!
