Still missing.
Poppy and 2 other (unrelated) dogs escaped from a Boarding Kennels on 29th July. Poppy's owners were on holiday at the time. The other 2 dogs were found shortly afterwards but poor Poppy is still missing :'(

This would be one of my worst nightmares. I feel so very sorry for the owner and hope & pray that Poppy is back home very soon.

I have been out looking for poppy with my Daughter across the fields etc and :'(will keep looking
I would be beside myself if it was our Daisy who was missing, just doesn't bare thinking about.

Anyone live near Aston Clinton? Poppy has been sighted there twice in recent days.

Bringing this one back up to the top again - Does anyone live near Berkhampstead??
Poppy has been sighted in this area.
she was lost in Bierton Bucks (from a boarding kennels)
has since been possible sightings in Aston Clinton and now Berkhampstead.
Her home is in Weston Turville.

I live near Berkhamsted will keep a look out, and the poster is up in my local vets so many more eyes will be out there to looking around the Ashridge area. Hope she is found soon.

It is 12 weeks today since Poppy went missing. I feel so sorry for her owner and hope with all my heart that she is back home very soon.

Hi Just bumping this back up to the top as there has been another possible sighting of poppy, please if anyone lives in the area it would be great to have everyone out looking, she has been missing since July :'(

Me too, I am always on the look out, but I think that she has either been taken in by someone and is being cared for (I hopethat this is the case), or maybe something unthinkable has happened (don't like to think about the 2nd possibility). If she was still out running free I think that one of us would have found her by now as so many are, and have been out looking.

I still check on Poppy most days. I feel so sorry for her owner, to go on holiday thinking your pet is safe in kennels and to come home and find they have lost her must be totally heartbreaking.

Ohhhhh I was hoping when I saw this back up at he top that perhaps there was some good news :'( I really feel for Jo (poppy's mum) and her family, it must be absolutely awful. I don't look at the dog lost page every day anymore, as it is so disheartening but I do check in occasionally. I look out for poppy all the time, every day on my way to work I am looking out accross the fields and when out walking with Daisy.poppy is often in my thoughts - I just wish that one day soon she will be found safe and well and be returned to her family.

Such a shame but nothing to add to the search, there have been no further sightings of a cocker. At one point there were 3 cocker/sprocker missing in the area although 37926 went back to where she was lost. The finding out about the cocker 36877 is still on my mind, although I am sure that this is not Poppy as the dog is described as young - it would have been nice if they had returned calls etc.
Poppy has soon been missing for 8 months and I think that now it will take something very special to get her back to us.
A heart felt thank you to everyone who is still looking and still hoping.

This little dog has really got to me. I look most nights hoping for good news. It must be so heartbreaking for the owner, she has tried so hard to find Poppy and the way she was lost was so sad.

me to :'( do you think that there is still a chance that after all of this time she could still be running free somewhere?? I often wonder if there are dogs running free for months/years (is that really possible) I look out for her all of the time as she went missing in our area, but hope that someone has taken her in and she is having a nice comfortable life somewhere (I know that is not the best outcome for her family but hoping poppy is safe and well).

Have read a very sad and disturbing update on this case today :'(
It seems that Poppy escaped from the kennels and was killed by a car on the same day. The kennels then apparently chose not to reveal this information and let her owners go through 18 months of worry and upset not knowing where she was >:D

I am speechless at them - if this is true, I really think that they deserve to go out of business if they haven't already - disgusting behaviour >:D

I am absolutely disgusted, all the months that so many of us in the area were out searching for poppy (and even until today I have still always looked out for her).
Words can not describe how angry and upset I am feeling. These people are scum. I just hope that Jo and her family are able to find some peace now.

it is beyond disgusting what these people have done. Accidents do happen and they should have took responsibility for it. As the dog owner you would have been devastated but atleast you would have known the truth.To live everyday wondering where your baby is must be torture.

Despicable behaviour by the kennel owners...have read they went bankrupt/bust a while ago and was maybe due to the bad publicity around this incident...I hope this is the case as it shows dishonesty does not pay.
