Pip went missing from her kennel on 13th March, believed stolen, possibly by somebody in a white van.

Not far from us. Hope she is returned soon. Happened a short while ago with a working cocker spaniel and they made her too hot to handle posters everywhere and radio, and she was returned.

This is a half sister of my lovely Fern and is owned by her breeder. They are doing everything they can to find her. A 'Huge' reward is being offered. They desperately want her back.
She is a very small quiet cocker and is slightly lame on her front right paw. She also screams like a banshee if told off or feels threatened-just as Fern did.
She has also been spayed, so is useless for breeding, (if that's what she was stolen for >:D )
PLEASE post this everywhere you can. Your FB friends especially. The idea is to make her too hot to handle.

Please, wherever you are in the UK, could you print at least one off and put it in your local shop/pub/lampost -anywhere where people might see it? She could be in your area.

The latest Dogslost post reads:
"I have just received information that people in a white van are responsible for a number of dog thefts in the Brentwood and CM postcodes. Apparently one dog was taken from the owners and its collar thrown away right in front of them. I do not know any more about this particular dog, but Pip seems to have been stolen by the same people. We do know who operates in this area and so does the police so I would suggest all owners with missing dogs in this Brentwood, Braintree, Wickford area go to the police. This has to be stopped now! However, the police need evidence to act so all of you out there with any information PLEASE report it to the police so they can investigate"

my brother lives in south woodham, i will post this on my FB tomorrow when im on my laptop so he and his friends can see it. hopefully she's found safe and well asap :'(

Printed the poster on Dog Lost and put it up on the noticeboard at our local Country Park popular dog walking park. Also spoke to several dog walkers.
Hope she is back soon.

This is just a hunch,(call it intuition)
but I would be most grateful if people -especially those in Norfolk/Suffolk/Lincs but also Cambs/Herts and Kent could poster/keep an eye out for her? I think she is only perhaps an hour or two away from here...
She is a tiny cocker with a docked tail (as she is a worker).
Any possible sightings (any early morning countryside walkers on COL?) of a small busy black white worker with a docked tail would be most welcome. That area could then be targeted with posters. Any vehicles details parked nearby would be very useful & followed up discretely. If it's not her then no harm will be done. We need some sightings. Feel free to PM me ;)

What is wrong with these people, its heartbreaking for the owners and the dogs must be so scared when they are separated from them. I hope that she is found very soon

:'( Pip is still missing. Not a word, no sightings, no information, no phone calls, despite posting, emailing details to everyone I can think of & postering locally. I've done vets, rescues, wardens, gun shops, local shops, pubs..... She's had several mentions on the local Radio, her owners have been interviewed, there are articles in the local papers and she is due to be in two or three shooting magazines soon.
I have made it my mission to get Pip back for her owners somehow, as not only are they good friends and neighbours of mine, she is so missed, by her litter brother, who I saw yesterday and is so lost without his Sis :'( . they went everywhere together.
If everyone who reads this could share her dogslost page on FB, Twitter, or anywhere else where it will be seen, with a request to share onwards. I would really be grateful :luv:.

If anyone in Essex or anywhere, but -particularly South Wickford/North Basildon, or anyone near the main routes in/out of the County, would be willing to print off a poster or two from her dogslost page and put them up I think it may help ;).

Thought it was time I posted an update....only there isn't one :016:.
There's been not a peep from anywhere about Pip or where she may be ....so.... I guess it is now a UK wide search for her, including NI and Eire.
-She's now on several of the not-so-nice-websites-for-buying-dogs that I will not legitimise here by mentioning their names.
-If anyone has any suggestions for any sites that I could post on that I might have missed, could you please send me a PM with their links?
-Oh - and if any of you have posted links elsewhere could you please bump them up to the top again? :luv:

Pip still hasn't been found, so please continue to keep your eyes peeled, sharing, cross posting and anything else you can think of.
She might be being used as a working dog.....

I would suggest contacting Selena, she had her Black Working Cocker stolen and was reunited over a year later ,she used to work for the Shooting Times

She could perhaps do a write up or put you in touch with the right peeps & would I imagin have lots of info she could share with you & CJ the doglost co-ord that helped Selena has help & support from a very good police force in Kent they take dog theft seriously ;) There is a trend in Stolen Spaniels particulairy Cockers & Springers accross the UK these sadly are the latest!

Hope none of you mind me bumping Pip up to the top again.
It is now 11 months since she was stolen.

If there anyone in the area who can keep their ears to the ground and their eyes peeled that would be most welcome. We haven't given up on finding her.

I'm bumping her to the top again as in the 27 months since she was stolen, there's been absolutely no word of what has happened to her. I suspect she has been sold and her new owners have no idea that she was originally stolen. If she's happy where she is, so be it, but it would be so very good just to know that she is OK :-\
